C) WHAT ARE THE NEXT STEPS
The next steps to be undertaken for the radio shall include the following as listed below:-
a) Raising the structure for the radio at the plot
b) Shifting the radio from the school to the upper land at the new site
c) Acquire transport for the radio for easy coverage of events and scenes
D) Breakdown of the cost (Attached below is the Bill of Quantity for the construction of the radio building)

EXPECTATION FROM THE STAKEHOLDERS AND PARTNERS

The radio though having done most of the works required by the licensing board in Zambia, the Independent Broadcasting Authority [IBA] still has same challenge which needs external support.
The radio has been advised to re-locate the station away from the school with first reason been that of security purpose and secondly for a winder radio coverage. For this to be done the radio need to finish its own structure which is still on the box level due to lack of recourses. Find attached the Bill OF Quantity [BOQ] for the radio.

WAY FORWARD

The radio has no other source that brings income for sustainability, therefore we call upon stakeholders and partners to come through in helping the radio be established to the level it can sustain itself before pulling out.

CHALLENGES
Due to the above issues the radio faces same challenges of keeping and retains radio makers as there go in search of green pastures such as employment and education, mobility is another challenge we face. we can’t go to places or at scenes of incidents at times of happening due to lack of transport .Zambia is hit with power shortage due to low levels of water in the dam and the radio has no standby power generator so when power goes the radio is off air too.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENTS FOR THE RADIO
Power generator
Bicycle, motor bike or car
Studio microphones and stand

We are so grateful for your gesture and we look forward for more support in any way which may help
the radio. Below are the photos of the works done at the radio statio

We look forward to your continued support.

Yours Faithfully,

Bernard Sikabbenu
