Binga Information Technology Centre has become a thriving place not only for pupils and teachers of Binga Highschool but also a wide cross-section of the community;

There are still some problems to deal with like power cuts, poor connectivity and shaky phone lines but the major challenge is the surrounding general situation of economic decline and starvation;

The extension of the Tonga.Online project is heading for the establishment of two satellite centres at Siansundu and Siachilaba schools;

The promotion of the Tonga.Online project in Binga area, in Zimbabwe and abroad has got a boost by The Mulonga Loop at Ars Electronica Festival 2002 and by the visit of the Austrian group Otto Lechner & Windhund in September;
