As part of their successful European tour 2012, Mokoomba will be coming to Austria for a series of workshops and concerts from 18 - 22 June. Watch out for the concerts on Tue 19th at Kino Ebensee and on Friday 22nd at Granit Arena Plöcking. For more details check www.sunnseitn.org

Mokoomba’s Album Debuts at Number 9 In World Music Charts Europe

Zimbabwe’s trailblazing Mokoomba have even more to smile about beyond their current European tour.

The group from Victoria Falls’s second album Rising Tide released earlier this year has made a strong debut on the World Music Charts Europe coming in at number 9 this June.

The album was released in April this year and from what we experienced at the launch we are not surprised that it should be this successful.  Their sound is unique and is one of the few that sound natural in a concert setting as those who saw them at HIFA will testify to.
