More than 60% of students who qualify for university or tertiary education in developing countries can't attend. eLearning via low-cost ICT devices can work for students, teachers, and the communities they live in. But what are the best strategies on how to deploy eLearning in developing countries? Join the Education Technology Debate sponsored by infoDev and UNESCO.

What happens to qualified students in developing countries who can't get a third level qualification because of limited physical infrastructure? With eLearning, these students might join extra-mural programs and further their educations. That's the theory of ICT4E (information and communications technologies for education). In practice, how can eLearning be made to really work for those who need it most?

Experts and users are gathering online for the Education Technology Debate sponsored by infoDev and UNESCO. They will share experiences and best practice and brainstorm about how best to use appropriate low-cost ICT solutions for educational systems in developing countries.
