25-27 August 2009, Livingstone, Zambia

The ONE-STOP Connecting Rural Communities Forum organised by the CTO is here again. In its fourth successful year, this year’s conference will be in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and Communication, Zambia, and is designed to prepare African ICT decision-makers for the next steps in driving rural connectivity.
Join us in Victoria Falls, Livingstone, Zambia, on the 25th - 27th August 2009. In previous years key stakeholders from across the telecoms world have come together to build partnerships for the future.

CRC Africa is the only event in Sub-Saharan Africa that brings together more than 30 Government Ministers and ICT Regulators to discuss policy and regulatory frameworks
The only event in Sub-Saharan Africa to look beyond ICTs and how we can bypass the infrastructure difficulties to achieve connectivity?

The CTO has already confirmed the attendance of several ministers from across Sub-Saharan Africa to speak on current policies and practices and how we can work together to change the face of ICT’s in rural communities.

The only event in Sub-Saharan Africa which can boast 3 full days with 30 speakers from over 20 countries for you to learn from and engage with.
12 hours of planned networking and receptions for you to develop business relationships and future sources of funding.

“African universal service and access funds will meet on 27th August to discuss common challenges; evaluate and identify solutions; develop common standards and protocols; meet relevant stakeholders; and to generally expand their horizons. It is a great opportunity for operators to refine their network expansion plans; for manufacturers and technology providers to showcase their products; for investors to link up with the universal service funds; and management consultants to learn the competency building needs of these new institutions.”
